ever have those blah days?
i feel like i keep saying this but it’s been a while since i posted on here. i would say that i have been unbelievably busy and at some points i have…however, i think i’m just at a point where i just don’t know what to say…nothing new and exciting going on, just feeling very blah lately. this morning was the epitome of my blahness…woke up several times before the sun came up, then finally woke up at the normal time, went into the living room and proceeded to fall asleep for the next hour and a half. this never happens, i can’t even figure out how to take a nap in the afternoon.
unfortunately i’m dealing with a lot right now with work. all of it is me dealing with situations that were avoidable but other people (my bosses) created and made promises and then didn’t come through and i have to deal with it with all the parents on the teams i coach. it’s taxing, it’s tiring and most of it, not what i really want to be doing. so i suppose it’s time for a ramping up of a job search and see what new opportunities are out there. ready for a change in a big way. ready to wake up in the morning and be excited about my days, it’s been a while.
i wish i could go back here to recharge again…

Today on my little 9 day vacation I decided to get up for a sunrise (yes, when the sun comes up) walk at the beach! After the 90 minute walk in sand and water, taking some new photos we decided it was time for a swim. Came back, swam in the pool, breakfast before 10am, shower, little shopping, downtown Wilmington and now back. The lady friend is inside making sangria for tomorrow, I’m enjoying a vodka tonic in a hammock chair on the dock…life is great!
